Customised Policy & Procedure Documents
As part of the Hercules Health solution, you will have access to Policy and Procedure documents, these policies are customised specific to each site by Hercules Health so they are ready for you to use and will require no additional time or resources from yourself.
Document control
Document control is managed by Hercules Health from the creation, review, modification, issuance, distribution and accessibility of the Policy and Procedure documents to ensure accuracy and consistency. These controls define the way the entire lifecycle of each document is managed.
Archiving
No further need for filing hardcopy records. Hercules Health’s online archiving keeps an ongoing historical record of each shift, at a glance. The Hand-Over notes also reflect a real-time list of all progress notes taken across the facility, which can then be sorted by date, time, contact, and resident, and flagged for the R.N. These along with other logs are accessible with a comprehensive keyword search field.
Evidence-Based and Person Centric
Records detail each client’s status, and experience on a shift by shift, day to day basis. Notes are a tool for reflecting on clients’ movement towards their goals, as identified in their care plan. They also represent a record a communication tool for staff and families/whānau.
Document Access Auditing
Hercules Health includes a comprehensive facility document module, which stores all of our policy and procedure documents, video library, facility favourites and other resources. As part of your compliance, Hercules Health digital systems tracks and can report on all documents accessed to help evidence staff familiarisation. Access to education resources is also tracked in the system.
Ngā Paerewa Standard
The provided document sets to cover all aspects of the Ngā Paerewa Health and Disability Services Standard NZS 8134:2021, Funding agreements and related legislation. Hercules Health maintains and updates our policy and procedure documents to stay in line with the latest NZ government regulations to ensure compliance.
